HEUSSEN: Seven Attorneys Among the Best in Handbook “Germany’s Best Lawyers 2014”
In an exclusive for the German business publication Handelsblatt, the US publication “Best Lawyers” ranks German attorneys from all law fields for the year 2014, based on latest recommendations by peers. As part of the ranking, lawyers were asked to mention any fellow lawyers they would refer clients to outside of their own law offices due to lack of time or conflicts of interest in representing these clients. Following completion of the selection processes, the current issue “Germany’s Best Lawyers 2014” lists seven lawyers from the HEUSSEN, adding three more of the law firm’s lawyers to debut among the best.
Prof. Dr. Benno Heussen, the law firm’s name partner active in its Berlin office, debuts among the best in the law field of information technology. Likewise, the firm’s Munich-based partner, Prof. Renate Dendorfer-Ditges debuts among the best in the field of international arbitration. Joining them is their fellow Berlin-based partner Dr. Jörg Pamperien in the field of real estate law. Meanwhile, Uwe-Carsten Völlink, HEUSSEN partner for public procurement law, has now been ranked for the sixth time at the top of the law profession. He has also been named Lawyer of the Year in the field of public procurement law in Munich. Also ranked among the best for the sixth time in a row is his colleague, off-counsel Dr. Reiner Ponschab, for his achievements in the discipline of dispute resolution and mediation. Appearing for the second time on the Handbook’s list of the best is Dr. Norbert Huber, HEUSSEN partner for real estate & construction law and coordinator of the firm’s practice group of the same name. Furthermore, Dr. Hermann Waldhauser, partner for the law field of IT, IP, Media once again ranks among the best lawyers in technology-related law. Four Law Practice Groups Awarded in Chambers Europe 2015
The current edition of Chambers Europe 2015 marks the first time that HEUSSEN has made the list in no less than four of its categories, namely Construction Law, Projects, Public Procurement Law and Real Estate Law. Also, Uwe-Carsten Völlink, HEUSSEN partner at the firm’s Munich office, is mentioned in the handbook as one the best attorneys in Public Procurement Law. So is fellow partner Dr. Jan Dittmann as one the top attorneys in the handbook’s category for projects in construction law.
